Membership Information
We here at Norlina Fire would like for you to consider volunteering with us. Our training is intense due to the nature of our business, but our alarm responses are more than just fires. As stated before, we currently provide a multitude of services to our community such as fire, rescue, and emergency medical services. This requires a broad base of trained personnel in many support positions. If you think you are interested in becoming part of the crew, come by our firehouse and check us out. We can promise that you will be challenged by the training and rewarded by the fellowship. Our meetings are held on the third and last Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM and typically last till 10:00 PM. The firehouse address is 102 Center Street, Norlina NC 27563. Volunteers can join as young as age 14 and can learn valuable skills for the future. Our junior firefighter program encompasses teenagers, ages 14 through 17, in an environment like no other. These cadets can learn and train to become firefighters and will be able to respond to emergency calls as part of a team. This environment is one built on teaching the youth the importance of pride and honor within the community, along with the satisfaction of making a difference.
